The release won't be for a week, and I'm doing a show this weekend. Andras is
working on Quanta. There is only a mild time issue as we want to have some
things done by next weekend, and we can always do more later.

I have "entrepenuer syndrome" on that one. This is such a quirky feature when
you want to get fancy with it that I think the only way to do it is for me to
just do this function. I could send you some of my examples, but your head
would explode. :-O

Funny thing about that. It seems widgets are automatically destroyed on the
fly, at least in tables if you replace them with text or a different widget.
Thus the function of value proves to be widgetExists(). Unfortunately if you
don't do things just right you will get either an error or you will get a
situation where you can no longer put a created widget into a table cell. In
other places it's less of an issue and in the ToolBox widget you can
expressly remove widgets.
As far as the rest goes, these widgets are gone once the window is closed.
They have no persistence beyond the instance.

Thank you. I'm hoping that given the popularity so far of Kommander that this
works for a successful fund raiser to cover sponsoring Andras full time to
work on our projects. I certainly think he is worth whatever I can pay him. I
happen to agree with you that the new release is a truly impressive jump. If
you want to really compare, build some things with the new features or better
yet take something you built before and save it to a new name. Then revise
the design to reflect the new features... then compare the two. It's huge.
Did you get the lates from SVN yesterday after it was frozen? Try the Tools
menu under Editor. Have a look at the included examples. Did you see the
editor demo? I'll have more soon. For now I have to get busy with work I've
been putting off.
