Quick update (and many thanks, as well)
both computers will now compile and install the svn kommander (I was missing a
factory something-or-other pkg, and the qt4-dev pkg on my laptop - but it
compiles from scratch now)

The plugins would have worked the first time, had I not tried to
select 'libtool' with the kommander plugin tool. ONce I pointed to the .la
file, everything worked fine. You can fill volumes with what I don't know!!!

you did... but I let the tool look in the build directory - I had to drop
down to the src directory to find the .la files. Simple enough, once I knew
what to look for ;-)

One quick observation, the new docs regarding the array (mentioned in an
earlier email) don't discuss key-value assignment, except as indexes. This
is on the .org.test website - so it's the new stuff. The method you
mentioned for assignment (arrayname["key"]="value") is plenty programmer
friendly and easy enough to use, but I suspect non-programmers using
the 'insert-function' tool may be at a loss. But not a showstopper by any
means.
Finally, you mentioned needing some help with some documentation/tutorials.
If you shoot me a copy of the code you want described, I'll take a look and
let you know if I can add any value.
again, thanks for the tips getting svn & plugins working.
