As part of said bug report (http://bugs.kde.org/119629), here's a patch
(http://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=14193) that:
* adds -no-undefined
* adds additional libraries to resolve missing symbols.
* removes hard-coded reference to .la file

(It applies against kdewebdev-3.5.1 too).
