[Kommander-devel] Beginner in Kommander

Hi,

I'm new with Kommander, and I'm looking for advice. Is this list the right 
place? Sorry for the noise, if it is not.

I have several questions. I'm developing a DCOP service program for the ALSA  
Sequencer (MIDI), trying to simplify the development of simple programs and 
scripts using the ALSA infrastructure, whose API is big and complicated. My 
program may be used from bash scripts using the 'dcop' executable, but more 
probably will be used for nice Kommander graphic utilities.

First question. I'm thinking on a name like 'ALSA MIDI Kommander', or 
something like that, if there are not complaints from you.

Second, and today's last. In my kommander scripts I need to call DCOP 
functions as soon as a combobox item is selected, or a slider is moved. To do 
this I'm connecting the slot .execute() of one script widget to the signals   
activated() or valueChanged() of the visual widget. Is there a better way to 
do this?
