One of our developers recommended to try Drupal as it has lot of things
already implemented. But as I never used it, and nobody volunteered to
install and try it out, this remained just a suggestion. So in case of
Drupal I'd have some questions:
- how easy is to install it on Debian?
- is it possible to integrate custom PHP pages inside it? For example we
have the resources page (quanta.kdewebdev.org/resources.php) which
takes some information from a database and I doubt this can be avoided.
- how would new information be added to that (via web interfaces, or by
directly modifying the pages in Quanta as for now and putting the files
into the subversion repository).
I'm sure these are basic questions, but Drupal and other CMS are just a
white area for me: I know nothing about them.
