Not gonna happen. I am just finishing testing right now of the important part
of kittyhooch.com I have to get done. Dave Reddish has a structural workup
and we have plenty of developers. What needs to be done is a simple agreement
on structural issues and a division of labor.
Moving the site would be like dropping our old shack on our new foundation
site, and trying to build one and demolish the other at the same time... just
totally irrational!
For now you can send any news/announcements to me or I can give you CVS
access. I can also set up to display an RSS feed or link over to another news
area or section if you want.
Also important to note is the following... We have a new virtual server to
use. I can set up whatever I want on it. Currently it has PHP5. In addition I
am seriously thinking of using Apache2 so we can easily integrate Subversion
and WebDAV. We should be working with new technologies. However Subversion is
compelling and reading about it makes me want to dump CVS as it is terribly
inferior from an administrative point of view.
So it will be at least another week for me to deal with car issues and getting
the server ready, but anyone wanting to get a part of it should be thinking
about what they want to do.
