Hello all,

It is with a sad heart that I must announce my departure from the
kdewebdev.org team knowing that the work that we were trying to accomplish
has not been finished.

When I first started working on this site, I had just lost my daughter,
Ashley, to meningitis and I was looking for something -anything- to fill the
void. Eric was kind enough to offer me this position and after a lot of
thought I accepted in the hope I could do some good.

Sadly, I don't think I've served you well these last couple of months and
working on kdewebdev.org has not been the emotional cure I was hoping for.
Happily, I have found comfort in my church, family and friends. However, as
I've gravitated towards those comforts, I have not had the time to devote to
my kdewebdev.org team that I wanted to.

kdewebdev.org deserves to succeed. In my time here, I've been very impressed
with the level of professionalism and care that all of you have for this
project. It is my sincere hope that you can continue and eventually build the
site that quanta and kde deserve.

Before I go, I would like to especially thank Eric for taking the chance on
me. I'm truly sorry it didn't work out the way we planned. I'd also like to
thank Chris, Dave Reddish and Bill for all the help and encouragement along
the way.

I'll be unsubscribing from the mailing list as soon as I send this Email. If
for any reason, anyone wants to get in touch with me, please send your
message to the yahoo account shown below.

I will continue to support the quanta project financially for the forseeable
future. Quanta has a huge future ahead of it and by contributing I'll at
least be able to play a small part.

Good luck in the future,

David

p.s.

I'm also going to start looking for a new maintainer for XML for <SCRIPT>. If
anyone is interested in picking that up, please email me privately at
djoham[@t]yahoo[d0t]com.
