Hi everyone,

Sorry I've been out for a couple of days. My wife just got back from two weeks
away and I wanted to spend some time with her. I'm back and ready to keep
going now.

Dave Reddish sent me a variation on Américo's theme that I'd like everyone to
look at and comment on. I think it's time to make a decision. I'm personally
torn between the two. I like Américo's concept better in one way because it
shows all of the projects at once on the home page and really gets the point
across that this is a suite of tools. I like Dave's better because it has a
more maintainable use of space. If we add anything in the future, we may run
out of space in Américo's design and have to rejigger things. Dave's proposal
doesn't have that problem so is more extensible.

I'd like to suggest the following: Let's look at these two designs until Wed.
Perhaps we can see a way to combine the two. On Wed, we'll make a final
decision on the look and feel of the portal site and then begin with the PHP
and HTML layout. We'll also continue with the look and feel proposals for the
tools sites.

Américo, have you made any progress on the tools sites yet? I'm looking
forward to seeing what you have in mind.

Best regards,

David
