Wow! That's all I can say. Américo, you just about hit the nail on the head 
for the look of the portal page I was going for. Well done!

I gimped it up a little to see what it would look like with a couple of small 
changes. In the area to the right that was blank, I put some news items. On 
the top, I put the kdewebdev.org logo in the center above a few more logos. 
I'm thinking each of these logos would be a logo for one of the tools in the 
suite. Forgive the awful gimping, but it's the best I could do in a short 
amount of time.

I also added a couple of links that I think we need to the navigation. My gut 
tells me we probably want to add a news link that has all of the news items 
on one page, but I didn't do that yet. I also assume that the block on the 
right where I put the news would go away unless the user was on the home 
page. Is that what you had in mind as well?


I'm also forwarding an attachment that Dave Reddish sent to me today. It's a 
combination of some of Chris' ideas with some things we dreamed up this 
weekend. Thanks Dave!


What do people here think? To be honest, I'm *very* happy with Américo's 
mockup and would like to proceed down that path. Américo, I'm curious what 
you have in mind for the look of the tool sites as well.
