Hi Jacob (and Chris too, I'm too lazy to send separate Emails :)

Job security is nice, isn't it :)

XHTML is fun. You can do a lot of nice cross platform stuff with it - even
in IE if you're careful...

Cool, that's an area I know we'll need help in. From what I've heard Chris
is a whiz at X(HT)ML so I think we're well covered on these two important
areas.

Good question. Here's my first stab at an answer:
In the next day or so, Eric is going to do a brain dump to me about what
he wants the site to do. That's where we come in. Hopefully, I'll be able
to take that brain dump and put together some form of design document with
goals, milestones and the like. Nothing too much, but enough to keep us on
track so we don't lose sight of what we're trying to accomplish. After
that comes a task list and and volunteers.
Of course that's an oversimplification, but you get the idea. I expect
you, Chris and everyone else to have input into the design, both from a
techinical and a 30,000 foot level as well.
I'm exited to get started. Hopefully, I'll have more information by the
end of the week.
Thanks to everyone who's volunteering!
Best regards,
David
