Hi everyone,
Here's my update. I have the form to securely request CVS access set up so I
can grant anyone access and work can begin. We are supposed to have a Jabber
server but for some reason it continues to be broken. :-( As soon as I can
get it to set up an account, text and run for a day without breaking I will
distributed information for our private Jabber server.
The form for granting access to CVS is at
https://kittyhooch.com/kdewebdev.php. I put it there so it is not accessible
in the main site. It has a brief description of licensing and basic
guidelines as well as some things we all agree to regarding our hosting so
that we give George and his clients the proper respect. You need to indicate
you agree with the terms and provide your user name and password. Because
this is secure it does not require you setting up email encryption. All
access is to be secure. BTW you can now access webmail secure if you have an
account.
Bill I think we were very close to consensus on the basic layout. I had a
question about your direction on the developer section. Let's go. I know I'm
distracted and it's not getting any better, but I need progress.
Everyone, I'm experiencing real pain here. I'm contemplating updating the
current site because of things that need to be done and I have no idea when
this site will be service-able let alone anywhere near complete. I need to be
posting updates, downloads, news items... I need to eliminate some things on
the old site... I need to get the developer support in place... I'm swimming
in an ever growing sea of emails and suggestions. We have a number of
developers involved here. We need to be making progress. I have too much hair
to pull out. I need this site up on line as a part of the functional control
strategy to get my life back to where I'm less buried. This site is my tool
for leveraging more results.
We need to lay out our plan and work it, and if this impacts anyone it is
important to me because this site will make a big difference in both what I
can do and how long it will take me, as in more in less time.
As a side note I'm seriously considering not answering hardly any emails for
the next several days in an attempt to get the two days work done I've been
trying to do for several weeks now.
