Hi Américo!

Please keep in mind that Quanta is only a part of the overall kdewebdev.org
"web experience". The www.kdewebdev.org "portal page" should have its own
graphics and logos that present the idea that this is the main site of a
suite of tools that are all designed to work together.

Each <tool>.kdewebdev.org page should look (for the most part) the same as the
other <tool>.kdewebdev.org page with the primary difference being the logos
for the individual tools. Quanta will have its own logo. So will Kommander
and so on.

What I'm hoping to see when we're all finished with the mockups is the
following:

A mockup of www.kdewebdev.org
* This mockup will have it's own logo that should convey that the
www.kdewebdev.org site is an umbrella site for a suite of tools that are all
designed together to help developers accomplish (primarily) web related
tasks. The primary goal of this site is marketing - make us look good and
professional. Introduce the tools, but don't go into too much depth. Quanta
will (of course) be mentioned, but it won't get any more attention than any
of the other tools we have in our suite. This site should look different than
the <tool>.kdewebdev.org sub-sites to help set it apart.

A mockup on one <tool>.kdewebdev.org site
* This mockup should have the logo of whatever kdewebdev.org tool you choose.
Quanta is fine. The <tool>.kdewebdev.org sites are where the real information
about the tools are presented to the user. The audience here will be more
technical so it's OK to use less fluff and more techie content. However, we
still need to focus on a professional presentation. Each sub-site will be
specific to the tool being discussed, so it's OK at that point to have
tool-specific icons.

For more info on how the two types of site relate, you can take a look at the
vision statement.

Thanks for helping out! I'm looking forward to seeing the mockups.

David

ps: Is it possible to type your name using a US keyboard in KDE? The only way
I can get your name to properly display is to cut and paste.

pps: Where in Brazil do you live? I recently visited Sao Paulo and Porto
Allegre and had a wonderful time.
