One thing I noticed in common with your proposals is that you are allowing the
user to select the language. Are you planning on having that be the default
behavior or are you going to use the HTTP Language Accept header as the
default?
To me, it seems a reasonable default to use the HTTP header as the primary
factor in determining what language to serve. We can always give the user the
option to ovverride this setting with a drop down box and a cookie - but why
make someone choose Klingon from a drop down box when their browser tells us
it's their default language and we have it available?
